Monk Incense Offerings Ceremony or “Chob Thoob Ceremony” focused only on offering incenses to monks in the past. However, nowadays people also offer flowers and candles in supplement so that the younger generations have called it as “Monk Flower Offerings Ceremony” This Monk Incense Offerings ceremony is another Mon ceremony organized on the End of Buddhist Lent Festival, the 15th day of waxing moon of the 11th month at Poramaiyikavas Vora Vihan Temple at Koh Kred, in Pak Kred District. Previously, only incenses were offered to monks. Incense offering is called in Mon as “Chon Thoob”. However, Mon people in Sainoi District at Samosorn Temple offers flowers, called “Chon Gao” in Mon. This is the  background of the organization of the said Monk Flowers Offerings Ceremony.
